FAQ

Returns and Exchanges:

Cozy Handmade Creations does not accept returns or exchanges. All sales are final. Be sure to read the details of each item before checking out.

Cancellations:

There is a very short window for cancellations, and there is no guarantee that it can be done. If you need to cancel your order you must email your cancellation request before the item is marked as “label in system”.

If a cancellation can be done, I will refund your original payment minus the transaction fee. The transaction fee is usually around 5%, but varies by payment provider.

Damages:

It is unlikely that an item will arrive damaged as the packaging has been tried and tested. But there are cases where they just get handled too aggressively along the way. Any items that arrive damaged must be brought to my attention within 48 hours of delivery. This would need to include an email with photographs of the damaged item. 

I will not replace broken or damaged goods due to customer neglect.

Returned to sender/Unclaimed Packages:

All packages are sent with tracking information, so you will be able to follow the status of your order along the way. After packages are shipped, I no longer keep track of them, that is the responsibility of the customer. 

If packages are returned back to me, I will refund you the cost of your items minus the transaction fee, shipping and handling, and 20% restocking fee.

Shipping and Handling:

Orders are usually packaged and shipped within 1 week. 

Shipping is calculated at check out based on your order weight and the destination. I do not alter shipping addresses unless emailed to do so by the customer at the time of purchase.

International shipping:

At this time I only ship domestically within the US. However, I would like to ship internationally in the future, so stay tuned!

“My items look different than I expected.”

Every creation is handmade and truly unique. Along with that comes the slight differences in shape and size of each mug. So it is important that you read the details and descriptions of each mug so that you know approximately how many ounces the mug is that you plan on purchasing. There can also be some variation in the color as glaze can be very unpredictable and will do whatever it wants. Glaze color can also look different in different lighting. Sometimes the Galaxy Purple mugs will look black in low lighting, but will look unbelievable with purple/red/blue swirls and swooshes in brighter direct lighting. It’s like magic. And because of all of this, every mug really is one of a kind!

How/Where to purchase:

Because every item is handmade by myself, I release new work in batches. Each piece takes about 4-6 weeks from start to finish. The only place to purchase my work is right here at cozyhandmadecreations.com. I will announce the date and time of restock about a week in advance via social media. So be sure to follow me on Facebook, Instagram and TikTok. You can also sign up for emails to be notified when a restock is coming.

Also please note, carts do not hold or reserve an item. The only way to guarantee an item is to fully check out with it.

Caring Instructions:

All items are food and dishwasher safe. Most are microwave safe with the exception of the sparkly black cauldron mugs. I cannot tell you that that glaze is 100% microwave safe because the glaze manufacturer did not specifically test with the microwave. I will however let you know that I have been using my sparkly black mug in the microwave for years with no issues whatsoever. User discretion is advised.

Custom Orders:

I do not offer custom orders at this time. It may be something I offer in the future though.
